My new year's resolution is organization. Each night I have tackled a drawer or closet so it is not overwhelming.

day by day and not stress out about it too much

I divide the house into sections. And try to finish one floor each day. Works every time.

I do a little by little each day during the week and then a thorough cleaning during the weekend

I try to stay somewhat organized and do a little every day until I get my house back together.

I had a week off after the New Year so I was able to slowly but surely get my house back together. I just take it one bit at a time. I break things down into smaller jobs and just do it!

Clean clean clean

The floor and counters are always my biggest challenges, so I try to do them right away and it helps!

Cold here. The dust is mounting with the furnace on all the time. A swish from the swifter duster here and there would help. Can swifter deliver a magic wand? A swish swish here and a swifter there, anywhere and everywhere in the house.

Clean. Then clean again. Then one more time after the kids are back in school.

After the holiday's, its time to toss out all of the old and rusty to make room for the new!! SInce my local home improvement store had a storage sale, I took advantage of it and brought a few to get rid of the busted boxes that held the Christmas decorations.

I'm organizing the basement

After Christmas we do a big cleaning. Moving furniture around, dusting with Pledge and a Swiffer, vacuuming and finding all sorts of items under the couches which the little ones left behind. Cleaning out draws and seeing what we can sell or donate; items we haven't used in 6 months to a year. Getting back to normal.

I have my kids help out and make it fun

I'm tackling rooms one by one. Now is the best time to organize since everything you can use to organize is on sale!
